Starting a Branding Studio: Seeking Early Clients and Collaboration
Overview
Three months ago, I launched WOTNOT Studio, a branding studio dedicated to shaping visual identities for cafés, restaurants, food and beverage brands, and lifestyle products. While the work is shaping up as I envisioned, securing consistent clients has proven more challenging than I anticipated. I’ve completed a few projects for friends and family, but those assignments aren’t aligned with the portfolio I aim to build. My passion lies in delivering thoughtful brand identities that cover strategy, naming, logos, packaging, illustration systems, mascots, and everything that makes a brand feel memorable.
Who I’m Looking to Connect With
I’m seeking founders and business owners at stages including:
– Opening a café or restaurant
– Launching a food or beverage brand
– Rebranding an existing business
– Building a lifestyle or consumer product brand
If you’re in one of these scenarios, or know someone who is, I’d genuinely love to have a conversation. Even if we don’t end up working together, I’m happy to share ideas or offer guidance in the right direction.
Portfolio and Collaboration

I’m also open to collaborating with café owners, bakers, chefs, and early-stage founders who value strong design but may not have a large agency budget yet. My goal is to create compelling brand experiences without compromising quality or strategy.
Request for Advice and Next Steps
If you have any advice on how to secure those initial clients, I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m open to feedback, introductions, or collaborative opportunities that help establish a solid early portfolio and client base.
Thank you for reading, and I’m excited to connect with potential partners who share a commitment to thoughtful, impactful branding.
